This Privacy Policy explains what information Spark Path collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Spark Path, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you create an account.
- Payment information — when you subscribe, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Apple, Google, or Stripe). We don't store your full card number on our servers — only limited billing details like plan type, renewal date, and subscription status.
- Usage & progress data — which lessons and flashcard decks you've completed, quiz results, streaks, and general app activity, so we can save your progress and let you pick up where you left off.
- Device & diagnostic data — basic technical information like device type, operating system, and crash logs, used to keep the app running smoothly.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the app's core features — lessons, flashcards, progress tracking, and streaks
- To process and manage your subscription, including billing and renewals
- To send you important account or service notices (like a payment failure or a Terms update)
- To fix bugs, improve performance, and understand which features are most useful
We don't use your study data or account information to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Who We Share It With
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Spark Path, such as:
- Payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe) to handle subscription billing
- Cloud hosting and analytics providers that store app data and help us monitor app performance
4. Data Storage & Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data protected against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
5. Your Choices
- You can update your account details at any time from the Settings tab.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time — see Section 4 of our Terms & Conditions.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We'll complete deletion requests within 30 days, except where we're required to retain certain records (like billing history) for legal or tax purposes.
6. Children's Privacy
Spark Path is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
